Diffusion- and reaction-limited cluster aggregation revisited
Paper summary
Simulates irreversible particle aggregation with rotational diffusion and attractive or repulsive interactions. Aggregate structure and aggregation times depend on interaction conditions; repulsion can produce more compact structures.
Relevance to the project
A direct morphology null for branching baseline associations. Compare fractal structure and persistence across controls before interpreting organic-looking forms as adaptive organization.
Passive aggregation is not the same process as the baseline's imposed connectivity rule.
