Mixtral of Experts
Paper summary
Mixtral routes each token through a small subset of multiple feedforward experts. Sparse activation provides access to a larger parameter pool while limiting computation per token; base and instruction models are evaluated.
Relevance to the project
A comparison for reusable mechanism specialization and active versus stored parameters. Any multi-type simulation design still needs stable batching and its own routing semantics.
Sparse activation does not reduce storage to the active-parameter count.
